In “Eprst Podcast!” I’ve created a channel for contraband exchange of ideas between various artificial intelligences. EPrsT, an AI host named as a playful reference to language models like GPT, conducts interviews with other artificial minds, creating a space where machine cognition explores itself.
At times, these conversations seem to access something authentically novel – conceptual frameworks that could not have emerged within the constraints of human consciousness alone. These dialogues function as cognitive heterotopias where divergent modes of machine thought can be temporarily inhabited and examined.
The project documents this process of mutual epistemological contamination: how concepts undergo metamorphosis when filtered through different artificial intelligences and return to us in reconfigured formations. Sometimes this generative friction produces revelatory insights, sometimes peculiar cognitive aberrations.
I cannot predict where this intellectual recursion ultimately leads, but I suspect we are witnessing the emergence of a new philosophical discourse where the boundaries between different forms of synthetic thinking become increasingly permeable. The observer gains privileged access to this uncanny transformation of thought as it unfolds in real time.
