A couple of years ago, life forced me to lay 300 square meters of flooring. It was a complex job – creative, but also quite tedious. The flooring consisted of multiple layers: several layers of tinted mixture, a mesh, another layer, sanding, and finally a layer of varnish. In short, the process was very long and boring.

I needed some way to entertain myself, so I took a couple of photos. I really liked the texture that was created. The goal was to make the floor look like concrete, both in color and in structure.

Oh, what beauty! That’s why I didn’t limit myself to just photos and decided to make a small zine. A couple of evenings in InDesign and the job is done.

The magazine was published in a print run of – only 1 copy.
